Mission

Our mission is to build a network of ocean changemakers with a passion for conservation, exploration and science.

This network, otherwise known as the

Bleu World Collaborative

will provide opportunities in ocean education, ocean science, and ocean conservation to people from all walks of life with a special focus on programs for children, underrepresented and diverse communities, and students in the environmental sector.

Typically, gaining in-ocean experience comes with a large bill, making it inaccessible to most. With fundraising efforts, Bleu World will reduce or eliminate these costs for ocean experiences all around the world.

In the words of Baba Dioum, “we will love only what we understand and we will understand only what we are taught”.

Education is the first step.

Bleu World will prioritize this in all ocean experiences by training individuals to work underwater and spreading awareness for the problems facing our oceans through cleanups and similar outreach events.

Understanding is the next step.

By leading community science efforts in the ocean, Bleu World will help the general public collect and contribute data to ongoing research projects.

Conservation is the ultimate goal

as we face problems including, but not limited to, climate change, ocean acidification, plastic pollution, and biodiversity loss.

Every experience offered by Bleu World brings ocean changemakers together to inspire positive change and preserve the ocean for future generations.
